Gortemoller Engineering, Inc. served as the Prime Design Firm providing professional engineering services for the design of a 2.7-mile Shared Use Path along SR 30 (US 98) from St. Marks Trail to Lighthouse Road in Wakulla County, FL. The trail was designed in a narrow right-of-way and included multiple drainage improvements, significant utility coordination, and a pedestrian crossing across St. Marks River Bridge. This segment, when constructed, will complete the 24-mile Shared Use Path project for the Capital Region Transportation Planning Agency (CRTPA) GE designed in Wakulla County. This continual path stretches from Surf Road (CR 372) to Lighthouse Road. It was designed at seven (7) segments which were contracted as five (5) separate projects.
