JENKS AVENUE WIDENING DESIGN-BUILD 

Gortemoller Engineering, Inc. served as the Prime Design Consultant providing engineering design services for the 1.0-mile widening and design-build project from 2 to 5 lanes from Baldwin Road to SR 390. The project included construction of widening of the roadway, drainage system design, utility coordination, curb & gutter, sidewalk, signal design and sign and pavement marking design. This project was the first project to be permitted through pollutant loading reduction in Northwest Florida Water Management District by providing off-site treatment compensation via an off-line wet detention facility routing an existing ditch through the facility until flows stage above the ditch block.
