Gortemoller Engineering, Inc.  provided professional engineering services for the SR 79 Shared Use Path from the existing Shared Use Path at the entrance of Gayle's Trail/Power Line Road to the sidewalk on the west side of SR 79. The design included a "cul-de-sac-like" intersection with the sidewalk to better accommodate bicycle turn arounds. This was mirrored on the east side to improve the existing trail and sidewalk intersection. The project also included minor modifications to the drainage ditch on the outside of the trail.
